Elco 4" IC New Construction for Recessed Light EL1499IC

Low voltage IC housing. Small aperture low voltage housing for accent lighting. Lampholder on trims adjusts 40 degrees from horizontal (eyeball trim adjusts 30 degrees). Integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping. Integral magnetic transformer steps line voltage down to lamp operating voltage. Jucntion box is listed through branch circuit wiring and has four 1/2" knockouts with true pryout slots. Captive bar hangers will span 24" joists and can be repositioned 90 degrees. 7-1/4" height allows use in 2 x 8 construction. Housing can be removed from plaster frame for junction box access. U.L. listed for use in direct contact with thermal insulation.
